Expectations for cast members of the Grade 6-8 Production(How to behave like “a Professional")
- Always check your rehearsal schedule
- Be on time for every meeting, rehearsal, tech call or performance
- If you are going to be late or absent from one of the above, notify Mrs Salomon or Ms Wittenberg lwittenberg@isparis.edu , in ADVANCE as appropriate - (medical certificates should be provided when absence is due to illness)
- Pay attention, work hard, follow directions and refrain from unnecessary talking during the rehearsals
- Always bring your script and a pencil to rehearsals
- Take down any notes you are given and review them at home
- Do your homework (i.e. rehearse at home at every chance you get)
- Respect your fellow company members, treat them with courtesy
- Do not tell others how to do their job
- Do not talk behind others’ backs
- Do not complain. If you have any major concerns, talk to the director (Mrs Salomon) or Ms. Wittenberg
- Don’t bring food to rehearsals or into the theatre.
- Learn your lines as quickly as possible
- If you have to wait in rehearsals, learn your text or bring homework to do or something to read, so that you can make the best use of your time
- Show your commitment and responsibility.
